I am a board-certified psychiatrist with experience treating conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, addiction, and suicidal ideation. I have worked in multiple psychiatric treatment settings ranging from the outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings. I also have experience using different therapies in conjunction with medications to achieve the best outcomes for my patients.

I graduated from Duke University where I majored in both economics and biology. I attended medical school at Downstate Health Sciences University and then completed 4 years of residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Harvard Psychiatry Residency Training Program. I also a recipient of the Harvard Medical School Dupont Warren Fellowship, where I explored my clinical and research interest in physician burnout and the application of microeconomic choice models. I have also published additional articles related to prescription drug monitoring in professional sports leagues.

Regardless of any training credentials, good psychiatric care cannot be achieved unless you feel like you trust your psychiatrist. I strive to earn that trust with you through a collaborative approach, flexibility, and providing my clinical expertise.
